with warped brake discs, will you feel the steering jerk all the time or is it intermittent?

been having it on and off for the last couple weeks
using ds2500's with brembo slotted rotors, bedding in correctly

I felt vibrations with my old, warped OEM discs when braking from high speed (like 80km).. and vibrated worse to the end of the braking period (slowing down to a stop mostly).. but also felt vibrations at lower speeds while the car was also coming to a stop
I replaced my rotors and now its fine.. how old are your rotors?

couple months

i'd probably feel the vibrations every like 20th brake attempt which is weird
no idea what's causing it

should be feeling vibrations all the time if your discs are warped. could be the pads?

with one of my previous cars, the mechanic put non factory pads on. every now and then whenever i brake i will feel a shudder in the steering and clunking noises. As soon as i put oem pads back on it was fixed.

Easiest thing to do would be try changing front pads first (I dont think rear pads or discs wud cause shuddering).. and if the shuddering still occurs try changing rotors
good luck

If it has rear disc it can also cause a shuddering feeling through the brake pedal.

Yeh but not through the steering wheel as much which is what the OP has stated is happening..

also check all of your ball joints guys, the steering will shudder under brakes with loose or worn ball joints...

Yea as I said.. jack up the car and try to wobble the wheels without taking off the lug nuts.. if it has some play could be ball joints etc
