Spoon Calliper Paint

Hey Forum,

I need Calliper Paint for my Euro, but I'd like to have a "Spoon" colour

Like above.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a High Temp paint.. One step paint would be preferred.

To be honest mate, i did mine in gold paint and they lasted for 5 years and still going.

It isnt the best paint on the market but you can use just the cheaper brands from supercheap which are heat treated paints.

Just take the caliper off and wrap the entire underside with paper and youll be fine.. took me 1 hour and a good mechanical lift at a mates mechanic to finish it all off :)

Yeh, I purchased some cheap paint from Repco.

Its a Dark Blue, and it just looks cheap and crap.

I'm really after a brighter blue, like the picture. I know it's probably going to set me back $50+ to get something like that.

Paint the caliper white first. Do numerous coats then paint it with the colour.

For the colour at the top, i would be lookin at the BA Ford BluePrint colour..

You could also mask out the spoon on the caliper between painting it white and then blue.

That would give you the Spoon on it haha :)

haha, I don't really care about the "spoon" logo. I wouldnt want to flaunt something i can't afford. lol.

Yeh, I was looking on some other forums. Some guys just sprayed it with regular paint and then coated with a high temp clear coat..

I one stepper would be nice tho.
