How bout go for a drive in peak hour, start stop traffic condition where your foot is clutching in 90% of the time in gear 1. Youll get the heavy feeling back. Guranteed.

lol try this.

with the car OFF - try to depress the clutch with your RIGHT foot/leg. It will feel very heavy. Transfer back to your left foot and it will be light as you recall.

So true...sometimes I try breaking with my LEFT foot or clutching with my RIGHT...never works lol. I break too hard coz I'm used to mashing my clutch and then my brain just can't work out the clutch thing on my right foot <lol>

Once your clutch wears in the cable stiffness could lessen a bit as did with my civic lately, but yeah it's very much a metal thing.

The human brain takes approximately 500 repetitions to memorise an action and 5000 to remove/change an action. So once you've clutched a good 500 times you'll hardly notice the extra resistance :)
