Had my new beautiful CU2 for less than a week (first honda). Lovely car. However, the compartments for the lighter and ashtray seems dodgy. Have to press a few times to get it to open and/or close, and the console from the AT gear stick has lots of play in it, ie you can easily push it down, which i have to do to line it up with the ashtray/lighter compartments, basically they are out of whack.

Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

Should i just wait for the first 1000km service to tell them. Also the aftermarket bluetooth microphone the dealer installed has come loose from the pillar, wtf.Pissing me off on a brand new car :(

That's why I don't like to get the dealer to install optional or aftermarket accessories like bluetooth or mp3 compatibility. They have to remove trim to do the wiring and installation and once the trims are removed improperly, they are never the same tightness and fit again.

make sure the pieces of the interior to either side of the cigarette console are firmly seated. Just firm pressure down on the parts is usually all thats needed. I noticed that these are pulled out when they fit accent lighting. They may be loose. Pushing down lightly should hopefully seat everything down around the cigarette compartment and the gear select knob. Let us know how you go
