Just pretty much follow the instructions in your manual on how to change your headlight bulbs then stick the ballast underneath the headlights. There's a nice spot to put the ballast underneath the headlights.

noob question but how did you attach your ballast? double sided tape?

Um the HIDs that come with mine had some double sided foam thing so I used that. I also used those zip tie lock things to wrap around the ballast and the platform where it was sitting just incase the double sided foam failed

Do most of you replace both the lo & hi beams? Or just one or the other?

I heard that it is illegal to have HIDs on lo-beams without the right casing/reflectors, but with hi-beams it is ok. Comments?

as long as you dont put on hi-beams at all times

ive got on both lo and hi beam HIDs.. low beams r good enough.. only need the highs when its like pitch black & foggy

it is illegal to have hid's unless it came out of the factory as stock standard

dont think anyone gives a crap though (only the anal cops do), heck im even running hid fogs
