not spoon, the cusco just fits against the heat shield of the FIPK.

I think you mean Strut bar not sway bar :P Sway bar sits below.
Apprantly spoon strut sits quite low and doesn't clear most intakes, just run a diffrent strut bar. They're all same thing and doesn't do anything anyway.

Yes I do mean strut bar sorry. Am kind like my spoon bar :-( but I really want the intake as well, and don’t want an intake that is a pain to install and cut stuff. Maybe I could cut the back of the heat shield to fit the bar or just buy a new bar. I think it sits very forward as aposed to low cause mind rubs on the insulation on my bonnet in one spot. Want the no lid on the box sound with out heat soak! Thanks for the input so far guys

If you don't want heatsoak then get a CAI not a SRI. Go with something like the Injen or the AEM. Which both don't clear the spoon strut. Just get the cusco one and sell the spoon.

Why dont they both clear? the pipe still connects where the stock one does, or is it bigger? thinking of getting it and try cut the heat sheild or do you think the pipe wont clear as well? cusco is not cheap.

Took my sisters friend for a spin in my S she nearly wet her self lol. But was offended when she said does not have the growl of a V8, Well no S^*t Sherlock it’s not a V8, but when I get the FIPK it sound ever better. O the hole near the side guard inside the engine bay, left from the air box must have so much air come thru there also, I shined a torch down there and could see it in the front grill a bit 

does the pod filter make much difference on the S? I had one on my prelude and didnt notice any difference in performance. I also heard you get alot of dirt in your engine from them as well so I decided to take it out of my lude and put the stock air filter back in.
