the 15x8 on CRX ED and Eg will fit if you get your guards rolled and a camber kit installed on front and back. You may find that you will rub on the inner guard covers (black inner ugly things) but that is not so important. they are just plastic and can be taken out or cut down to stop the rubbing i have the 15x6.5 on my CRX and they sit reall nicly in the guards, but dont have the HUGE lip on them, i plan on doing the swap soon, and getting the 15x8's on after i have finished the paint and pannel work.

should be some pics of alexx's eg with the sportsmax's he had on there, needed a bit of work to fit and more than likely will attract the wrong kind of attention for road use

Well i am running 195/50/15s with 0 offset and adjustable camber on all 4 corners. Only scrubbing with large bumps on rear and hard cornering in the front. With a +25 you should be fine, comes down to how low you want your ride to be.. Other then that there is no scrubbing at full lock when parking ect if its on a flat road.

not planing on cambering it..edge of tyres will be in line with the rubber..

195/50 will fit fine on 15x8in +25 with stock camber arms and a roll of the guards.

Ive been running 205/50 on 15x8in +25 for a while now on stock camber arms with no tire gap, a decent roll of the guards, and trimming of the rear bar. No issues at all. 195/50 on 15x8 +25 is basically hassle free fitment on an EG.

If your not planing on getting camber there might be scrubbing issues on the guard it self when turning.

EK1.6LCIV: Prob wont try it on my EJ as too much modifications are needed to make 0 offset fit, tho they do look pretty cool on it..

Yeh but the looks of things comparing from my eg and ej, ej hubs look like they sit further out then the eg so might not be able to run a low offset.

Ive only seen it ran once in Brissy, then he went to a more conservative offset, looked very nice

Getting a bit off topic here but yep.. very nice on the ej, not too sure what suspension hes running but mine seems to sit in a bit more, might just be the different offset of the hubs..

^ yer sho us wat it luks lyk.... Type properly please, sms talk is annoying to read

15x8 +25 is pretty spot on for an EG civic without using adjustable camber arms imo.

I do agree +25 sits flush. But really depends on the look your after, lots of dish or not..

it sits flush but does it scrub when turning on hitting bumps

alex is that running with 195/50/15

Thats with 205/50, so you will have more clearance with 195/50 - but you will also need to be a tad lower to pull off a similar look due to the shorter sidewall.

With 205/50 there is only minor rubbing while turning over bumps. Maybe once a week if that. Just have a stiff suspension setup and roll your guards and you will be fine.

I went with the larger tire as I wanted to bring the tire closer to the guard for a more 'full' look and get the tire flush as opposed to stretching and going lower to get the lip of the wheel to sit flush. I tried 195/50 on a 8in +15 wheel before, it was ok, but not the setup I was after.

As wayzor said it depends what you want. However, the amount of 'dish' is not a suitable measure - some wheels have more meat on the hub area to achieve a lower offset rather than simply having a larger lip.

^^ Yep well said alex, but yeh comes down to the combination of the rims them self..

Yup. To be honest everyone is just best off experimenting for themselves with different wheel widths, offsets, and tire sizes etc. Theres only so much anyone can learn from reading and researching - so just go and try it!

Thats the only real way one can gain a proper understanding of wheel fitment that suits both themselves and their car

Very very good advice Alex! Sounds like your the offset king man!;)

Also with tyres, not all 195/50/15 tyres are the same. Some have round walls or straight walls. Be careful which one you choose especially if you dont want scrubage.

^ very good point.

For example look here http://honda-tech.com/showpost.php?p=24926223&postcount=65

Comparing 2 different 205/50 tires, you can clearly see the difference between the rs-2 and the rt615. Infact, the 195/50 rs-2 is wider than the 205/50 rt615! The numbers on the side of any tire are more of a guideline rather than a rule.

From experience, Falken tires seem to be skinnier than other makes, and are fairly a safe choice when it comes to stretching when you need the extra clearance.

Wow, i would definitely want to buy from a place that has tested the product on popular models. That's far better service than you get from most automotive places, and they'd know what they're talking about!
