Hey there, i have a 94 Integra VTIR, ive just recently changed the engine oil, fuel filter, oil filter and spark plugs. I know that i have to change the engine oil and fuel filter every 5000kms but my question is how many Kms later would i need to change the fuel filter and spark plugs ( i have the NGK platinums).
Also is changing the gbox oil necessary??

Thankss

fuel filter should be replaced every 12-24 months depending on your type of filter

Depends on the amount of crap in the fuel and amount of rust/sediment in the tank. Standard is 4 years, but you might have to go for 2-3 years on an older car.
NGK platinums should last 60,000km IF your fuel mix is perfect. You might find the plugs wearing down quicker if your engine runs leaner or fouling if the engine runs richer. Also depends on the temperature rating of the plugs.

every 5,000k = oil
10,000k = oil filter
20,000-40k = brake fluid , coolant , fuel filter , transmission fluid. (depending on conditions)
etc.

what about the gearbox oil

Actually the Original Integra Service manual recommends replacing the fuel filter only every 100,000km, and transmission fluid (gearbox oil) every 40,000km.

+1 i change oil filter with each oil change
i doubt it makes much of a difference but it's how i've always done it. there can be about 250ml of old oil in the used filter that i like to get out while i'm there :)

I've never changed the oil without changing the filter. It's easy and is a small fraction of the cost of oil anyway.
