Hey guys,
Got a DC2R recently and i'm wanting to move the number plate back to the OEM position. The douche previous owner had moved it there. Its currently positioned on the bottom left side (like the evos) bolted on a metal bracket.
The problem is that when i look at the centre of the front bar there's no marks or anything where i can bolt on the mount or anything. Is this normal to not have any holes or anything on the front bar?
Thanks in advance

they're be something behind it on the inside, be as easy as tapping it through and bolting it back up
worse case scenario you end up with a nut and bolt arrangement instead

from the factor there is... it actually protrudes on the outside so it sounds as though it has been shaved

Ok had another look this morning and it seems like there isn't anything to mount it on... No bolts, no holes no nothing... I do know that this front bar was replaced so now i'm thinking it got replaced with a non genuine front bar...
So if i were to relocate the number plate i'd have to get a new front bar? Or would you suggest drilling and using two nuts and bolts to hold it in, for the current one i have?

drill and bolt up, saves you a fortune :)

I was also thinking is there like a plastic mount where its placed between the plate and the front bar? Or should i not bother with that?

or get some stick on foam or double sided foam tape from 3M? to protect your front bar

Just use some nuts and bolts. Use extra nuts between the plate and the bumper to space it if need be
