hi, im looking at this integra, but the owner says its had a jdm b18c put in, just wondering if theres anything i need to be careful about, like, do any numbers need to be changed around, does it need to have rta approval or anything? anything you can tell me would be awesome. thanks.

Best thing is ring the RTA, an Integra came with a B18 anyway, so it shouldnt need anything more than a blue slip when the car was registered, do a REVS check which will tell you if any money is owing, or if its been stolen and recovered/ repairable write off

I think JDM B18 engine numbers are slightly different, someone on here will know

JDM B18C engine has 7 numbers below the block number

for instance
B18C
xxxxxxx

Make sure that the engine and engine number is same on both rego paper and engine block.

Yes it'll just say B18c, but look under the B18c print, there will be seven numbers printed on it.

Go inspect the car and look at the block and you'll know what we are talking about. The jdm B18C has B18C ONLY printed on the first line and 7 numbers on the second line. The audm itr and vti-R is printed with B18C7 and B18C2 respectively on the first line and 8 numbers on the second line.
