Hi guys.

Looking to freight a gearbox from SYD to TAS for my 1993 Civic Si EH. Anyone know the approx weight of the gearbox? (so I can get a quote) Also anyone know of a good/cheap freight company?

Thanks heaps.

www.smartsend.com.au (http://www.smartsend.com.au)

www.transdirect.com.au (http://www.transdirect.com.au)

both provides online quotes and very reliable service. ive used this service 50+ times and never had an issue

taking an unedcuated rough stab in the dark, i'd say it 'll weigh about 50kgs

Thanks for your help. Checked them all out today...smartsend looks pretty damn good and cheap. Will need exact weight though so going to get the seller to weigh for me.

I've been lugging around a B-series box the past few days and it would be at least 35kg. You won't need the exact weight unless your estimation is around the weight threshold for the different price brackets - just put in a weight that is guaranteed to be more than what it is.

D gearbox is about 30Kg, and should cost about $50 to ship
