Does anyone know if these are adjustable? Mine beeps when objects are to the sides of the car, but not behind the car. I know it's previous history included a rear ender but the repair looks very professional and can't be detected anywhere.

I wonder if they replaced the sensors. You could try swapping the sensors and seeing if that makes a difference.

Yes, they most likely have just forgotten to reconnect them.
Or, the sensors may have been broken and not replaced, or they replaced them with sensors of a different spec that don't work correctly.

They are connected and beep at different speeds including beeping faster, but it is usually when I am backing down my driveway with nothing behind me or when I stop on the footpath they are still beeping. They are either picking up the ground or the retaining wall next to the driveway.

Yes, the left and right corner sensors will pick up things close to the left and right rear sides of the car. Eg, my sensors go off when I am in my garage and select reverse, because the sensors pick up the garage doorway. I've also had them pick up poles and cars parked beside me in car parks.
Quite normal, I don't think it's adjustable.
