hi everyone~just wonder a TWIN CARBY EG have fuel pump???

if yes, where is it locate? and i heard the fuel filter is located passenger rear arch, is it ture?? cheez



result: the fuel filter located at the rear bottom, just lay under the car and you will see the fuel tank cover, it is not under the rear seat,

undo the cover and follow markismaximus instruction to locate the fuel filter will be all good!

It has a mechanical lift pump, located on the drivers side of the head beside the intake manifold, looks like a big circular looking thing with 2 bolts, which runs off a cam lobe. The fuel filter is on the LHR, beside the tank, covered by a plastic trim.

so how can i change the fuel filter? do i need to remove the rear seat? or any tips to replace the fuel filter?

it would be great if someone can show me the pics about the mechanical lift pump location~~~:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

this pic is from my ED carby motor before I pulled it out but the pumps will be in the same location. See the arrow or follow the red fuel lines. If you still cant find it follow the fuel lines which will come from the firewall near the battery in an EG. Rear seat does NOT need to be removed to replace filter. Attached is some info for fuel pump and filter location. To replace the filter you only need to remove the cover and the filter will be fastened onto the tank with a 10mm bolt.
