Hi guys
ive owned silvias, skylines, GTRs, evos, GTiRs, even a charade:p and im thinking of getting a S2000, or a daihatsu copen. yes very different cars but comparable on the price basis.

so if there are any Brisbane members that wouldnt mind me looking at their S2000 and having a chat to them about them ill like to meet up sometime and see if they are wirth all the hype:D

any recommendations on where i should get a S2000 from?
no dealers in brisbane have any stock so i can't test drive them and the majority of S2000s are down at nsw and VIC.:(

cheers mark

LOL please get a s2000.. daihatsu copen could never compare to an s2k's reliablility, performance, luxury and looks.. its a bloody daihatsu

Just keep checking carsales, carpoint and drive, you will find an s2k in brissy somewhere

You looking at an AP1 (earlier model) or the AP2 (latest model)

Hey Chris thanks for the advice. im prob looking at the AP1 as its cheaper and ill prob swap the suspension out anyway which will leave me with only minor cosmetic changes than having a AP2.

im yet to drive a S2000, but from what i read they are fairly good balanced cars. i hope someone in brisbane put their hand up and lets me go for a ride with them :D

well i was tossing up between the, 350z, RX8, s2000, copen, mx5. i was sick of imports and the probs with selling them, etc no log books questionable history and kms.

the S2000 drive was pretty ordinary. copen was just as fun at half the price.

the 350z was too much to insure and the rx8 is a wankel. so i came across a nice stock clean my05 type S. and bought it straight away. didnt even drive it cause you could see the condition it was in. original tyres at 30,000kms still good condition.

very happy.

Interesting, the conflicting comments on price, or am I missing something? The Copen looks :thumbdwn: in my opinion, S2000 is  although granted there's more to a car than looks alone.

What type of car is the "my05 type S"? Integra (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2005-Honda-Integra-TYPE-S-Red-1-Priv-Own-Immac-M-Coupe_W0QQitemZ260513845180QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20 091127?IMSfp=TL091127186001r1148)?

hey troy. i meant. the 350z, RX8 and S2000 are comparable. and the s2000 is just a bigger mx5/copen imo.:p

the type s is the new facelift integra with all the things the type R shouldve got like leather, sunroof etc.

nice choice on the type s mate, the leather and sunroof is something i can't live without after having it in my current car. enjoy!

only gripe is with you comparing the s2k with a copen haha :p its like comparing a beautiful mature woman with a jailbait 16yo girl lol

Nice choice on the Type S (I should know, lol) I can't wait to see what you do with it given your resume of cars

I feel the same way about my EK. However if I had an Integra S... I'd probably make it into something special! They are a cool car.

Mine is the temporary ride until I can afford the car I really want, which I haven't decided upon yet... I like too many and haven't decided what really suits me best. Always wanted a noice Landcruiser to tour Australia in... but then my sense of practicality kicks in haha.

Like they say on Top Gear, the less practical the car is the more fun it is.

i do like the type S its more comfortable but its not quick. it revs well. but i think ill sell it in a year and buy a 370z. big fan of the vq engines. and nissan makes great FR cars. but one thing i like about the teg is the engine. nice RAWR!
