View Full Version : facelift bumper on a pre-facelift model dc2

yo so i got a dc2 facelift rear bumper and im trying to put in on my teg, 95 model and it won't fking go in :(, the 4 screws in the back won't line up.

is it just straight fit or am i meant to do something with the reo-bar.
any one wanna help me ?

The metal bumper support (that the 4 bolts screw to) usually deforms over time, leading to the droopy bumper syndrome. The holes are probably only a few mm out of alignment.

Take the metal support off the bumper and bend it gently to shape, then refit.

You're not the first to ask. But I just haven't had the free time to pull the rear bumper off and do a step-by-step photo thing lately.

hey mate theres no diy for straightening metal you just gotta grab whats between your legs and give it a go. just make sure you have a good long straight edge to check it agaist
