ticking sound coming from the glove compartment area?

I have a brand new civic sport 09 model FD2, i have only had it for about 2 weeks now. Recently when i start the engine, there is always 2 ticking/clicking sounds which to me sounds like it is coming from the passenger glove compartment area, it ALWAYS happens when i start the engine, it had never done this before, it only happened recently.

Anyone else have this issue? or anyone know what the problem may be?

Not sure if you would still get the sound in a new car, but sound coming from that area and only at the start is the fuel pump..

Its very normal, you turn the key to on and you will hear a few clicks, which is just the fuel pump turning on, and the fuel pump in most honda's i think are located on the left hand side,well mine is anyhoo..

Thats probably it.. if its not.. then since the car is brand new,, just take it back to honda and show them the problem..

Will look at my FD1 later, however it has a different engine so it might not be there.
