Can anyone clarify whether or not a EG b16a2 radiator hoses are the same as an EK B16a2. There are no listings for B16A2 EK, only EG, EK lists a d16y Vtec for some reason.

thanks

All b-series are the same size for the hoses because the use the same size radiators.

it depends the combo of radiator you're using for the swap.

del sol (EG2 CRX 92-97) hoses FTW.. should suit any EG chasis radiator and readilly available through your local Honda Dealership Parts department ;)

they should be the same, since the position of the radiator, hose inlet, outlet are also the same...

Exactly right. The inlet and outlet positions and sizes(od and id) are the same for every b series

not for every b series apparently. i have read somewhere that B16's and B18's have a different thermostat housing. the B16 is more straight delivery, while the B18 is slightly on an angle. so im guessing the hose leading here would be different?

Hmmm would there be a difference in the b16a1 and b16a2 hoses, i have a crx with b16a1 from factory, it's a full size radiator instead of the a2 half size. If I bought a2 hoses would they still fit a1, can someone clarify this, cheers.

All same. Not everything you read on the internet is true.

hahaha well I am talking from EXPERIENCE.. All B-series radiator inlets ARE the same, but B and D are not... then some models like EF9 and DC2 have full-width radiators.. del Sol, EG and EK4 radiators are half-width.. so there may be a difference in LENGTH.. and as someone else mentioned the Thermostat housing inlet diameter differs.

cheapest option (in australia) is Del Sol hoses.. if you're ordering aftermarket hoses - order for EG6. as far as EG6 versus DC2-R i am not 100% certain but check part numbers for aftermarket hoses and see if they're the same.

SPOON lists -
EG6: 19500-EK9-000
DC2R: 19500-DC2-000
EK9: 19500-EK9-000

so this would suggest there IS a difference as it lists EG6 and EK9 as being the same but DC2-R different.
