Looking for a 3" exhaust system for my h22 build and was wondering what exhausts people are running out there.

Theres rcrew and skunk2 but i think they will be too loud even with the silencer so any1 using a custom system?

Skunk2 Megapower RR (76mm) with the silencer in is as loud as my S15 with an Apexi N1 exhaust with no silencer.

i got skuck2 2.75" with silencer, resonator and cat and i would say, it is loud.

So i am now trying to save for the xforce twinloop on axles back and hope could lower the noise

high flow cat, 3" with vibrant resinator and vibrant muffler shouldn't be toooo loud nice and deep imo - youtube it, and cheap or substitute vibrant for borla for more $$$, stay away from n1 or cannon mufflers. Magnaflow's are a little louder.

SSR header with metal cat and straight thru muffler at the rear with 3" dumpy from westside mufflers, padstow.

3' is ok. We ran S2000 cat with 2 resonators + straight thru muffler. Wasnt loud on cruise but once WOT, its over legal limit.

Dont mean to sound dumb but isnt 3" pipe rather big for a NA engine.

3" yells turbo at me

yes it does seem rather big and most "exhausts shops" wud tell u to stick a 2" on there, but 3" is proven on the dyno to give great gains on H and K series engines

i've seen a few and they are loud.
Just need to run a larger resonator and good quality muffler, will still be loud but, that the sacrifice your gonna have to make

I dont think there is such thing as a quiet 3"
Even if there is I highly doubt it after 3000rpm.

im running 2.5 from headers custom piping magnaflow high flow cat to x-force twin loop. had 3inch canon before and it was pretty loud changed over to the twin loop and now you can only hear it over 2500.
