Needing an answer to this as were having a massive discussion about it.
MK4 N/A Supra Vs DC2R/5R
0-100 times would be useful also.
What would be the outcome? Which car would be quicker?
Any additional information would be appreciated
Thanks
N/A Supra is just like Falcodore.. big fat 6cyl.. pretty sure DC2/5R will be quicker.. bleh

Thats what i think aswell... Mate is a supra fanatic and thinks MK4 N/A Supra will take either to school (Stock for Stock)

not big on supras, so mk4 is... the last model released? 2jz?
best time i've seen an n/a supra run is 14.1 at wsid.
dc2rs are capable or 13s.
they are very much evenly matched

what, with a 1uzfe? interesting, though the car would be a pig. audm dc2r is about same speed. jap spec 98+ will be faster, just.

we have raced and it was about even. dc2r sometimes had the launch ~and would be ahead. supra had intake, exhaust. dc2r dead stock

why dont you all stop armchair racing and take your cars to a track and race them... then come back and tell us who won?
its the same answer for any of these sorts of questons, there is a lot to it including the driver... an NA supra is a nugget, but if the driver in each car is incompetent then you will have different results....

a similar thread was done before...DC5R/DC2R would be quicker --> N/A supra is older, a LOT heavier but have more torque...nonetheless tell your friend supra is a nice car but an N/A supra would lose to an ITR but dont forget to mentione the TT is another story...to make him feel better...

Personally I've never seen a N/A supra do under 14.2. And that was someone who actually knew what they were doing. Your average P-plater with sweet F-A experience with launching a huge rwd boat will struggle to get out of the 15's.
Supra's were made to be turbo. Owning a N/A one is like cutting off your genitals. Yea sure you still looks like a man. But you just aint got any balls....

Armchair racing is nice & safe so it's highly encouraged, that's until Benjammin comes in with the infraction stick!

lols why bring in the p platers for. most p plates who own decent cars know how to drive them quite well i must admit~
but anyway i have done the comparison. and overall dc2r is a better car all round

Hehe I was just using them as an example as a lot of them still have that Fast and the Furious mentality. You know, making sure they're not granny shifting and double clutching like they should :car:
