Hey guys, name is jesse and i own a 92 model crx aero top.

Dont really know much about hondas at all so im hoping to learn as much as i can from here and do some little things here and there. (only other honda i had was a daily spec jazz) But have had plenty of different/performance cars before (wrx, rvr, soarer, supra,vy ss,celsior ect ect)

anyways the spec list (will update more when i remember)

exterior:
- Full Custom Wide-body Kit (EK Civic origin - Fast and Furious inspired.)
- Full body re-spray (Honda - leafy green) - love this colour!
- Clear rear tail lights
- Tint

interior:
- Full interior refit, with red faux seude and vinyl seats and linings with various
embroider .gifs, Red painted plastic highlights with Custom fibre glass stereo and console inserts.
- Custom RED Certified Seat Belts.
- Momo Race Steering Wheel (anodised red)
- White back illuminated dials

engine/exhaust/driveline:
- B18C Integra conversion
- Excedy Race Brass Button Heavy Duty Clutch.
- Turbo Conversion with TD03/04 high-flow custom turbo.
- Custom tune length manifold
- Full front mount intercooler kit with stainless piping.
- HKS SSQ super sequential BOV
- K&N Pod Filter
- 2.5” Customer Exhaust Turbo Back, with Hi-flow CAT and Twin Magnaflow Barrel Mufflers

fuel system/ecu:
- Greddy E-Manage piggyback computer
- Malpasi Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Oversized Injectors 2.2L
- Bosch fuel pump

Wheels/suspension/brakes:
- Winner Pro 6 pot Racing Brake Conversion
- Front and Rear Heavy Duty Stabaliser bars
- H&R Lowered Springs
- Sparco Race 17” Wheels

Turns lots of heads and goes quite well. Im looking into a another tune or ecu and a boost guage as it doesnt even have one. Needs a deck and amp as currently only has the speakers/splits in custom door pods at the moment.

cheers.

how much did it cost to build the thing?

beeza
26-12-2009, 12:16 PM
The thing?

It's a car.

No hatin.I Love the fact that's there's been none of that yet.

I'm sure denzel would be happy with that too.

I think we are level headed enough on here to not do that.

When U let go of that emotional response,it's then you can see and appreciate the amount of work that goes into building a car like this. And that's what it's about, respect.Respecting each other for the choices they have made!

HUGE effort.

G'day Denzel.

Im think i saw this car on ebay about 2 weeks ago.
And before that im pretty sure i saw it on Carpoint/Sales about a year ago and he was asking some rediuluce price like 40K

Hope your new car goes well and is all you expect :D.

Being a vtec turbo, the tuning for that will be interesting.

well the engine has been swapped over by the books (registered as b18c) so that helps, but a copper will always pick on something if they want to.

An interesting vehicle... lol, cops will be all over that thing up here.

Certainly an acquired taste.

Wow, blast from the past. Don't like it, but as long as you do. You bought this at the beginning of the year, yes? Welcome to Ozhonda.

Its a B18C2 from a integra VTIR going by the invereted intake manifold.

Hi and welcome

Not my taste but I can respect all the work that's gone into it!

One thing though...

With all that work done why in hell did they use a crappy Greddy E-Manage piggyback computer?

nice, but if your gonna tune it again i'd look at more than a piggyback ECU.
Otherwise everything looks smick

Wasnt on crx last year, I havent had this long at all, so not me.

One of the first things ill be doing is looking into another ecu

I assume when the car got built (years ago) there wouldnt of been many options for this car/setup hence the piggyback.

It looks like it should be featured in some sort of car movie similar to Fast & Furious

Looks familiar

Was this in fast fours or something 2 or so years ago?

personally i hate it, the bonnet and front bar are very umm.... different? something a little more subtle in the front bar area and oem bonnet and some different rims would make it look 100x better imo.... breaks look awesome though, its unique, and its got the go to match the looks anyway so kudos on that, hope you enjoy the car and ozhonda, never a dull moment round here!

looks nice but i agree a toned down front bar and a hood without the VK scoop would be good aside from that looks awesome

as for ECU - adaptronics i hear are very good and also theres the usual Wolf etc..

gl for the future

PS insurance on that must be a bitch!
