Hey guys
im planning to put a system into my DC5S and i decided to buy the Alpine Type R Speakers and Type R 12' sub...
i am planning to buy 2 amps (one mono and one 4 channel) i was jst wondering wat AMPS i shuld use to run the speakers spending around 300-400$ on each amp.

Jaycar have nice 4 channel amps, im running a type s 12 with type r components front and type r 3 ways rear, using a JBL 6 channel amp. Works very very nicely. Awesome quality. A nice alpine 4 channel will probably do the job nicely.

yea i was looking at the alpine amps coz my mate said using the same brand for the amps works good but the cheapest price i saw for the alpine amp is like $400 on the alpine website do u think that amp does the job? do other brands still work jst as good for the sub and speakers?

Just mix and match it doesnt really matter just look at the rms ratings etc

^^^ You don't have to stick to just the same brand for the combination. Like above just mix and match.

I normally mix and match but I picked up a modest Alpine set which I am in the process of installing. JB Hi-Fi has 30% off and as always with JB they are willing to be talked down.
