hey guys,

just got pulled over just before by highway patrol and they defected me for my injen it says: "Air indusction system non-standard unable to access air filter" on my DC2R B18C7

i was like WTF it's sectioned off from my motor whats wrong with it

is it legal or illegal??

Interesting, so in a way it's illegal to have a pod in the engine bay but also illegal to have it not in the engine bay because you can't reach it...of course there's heaps more to it but that's what I'm thinking. :p

from what i gather the rule is no exposed pod due to fire hazard. and the filter should be box and secure with 10mm of flex play when the engine revs. go get the modification handbook at ur department of transport

stop complaining.

You have an AFTERMARKET part on the car - without a blueslip (engineered) it is actually illegal fullstop.
