View Full Version : Glass or plastic EG Headlights?

I was just wondering what material my EG5 headlights are? Sorry for my noobness but how can I tell if it's glass or plastic. I knock on it and it feels pretty hard, dunno if it's glass or really tough plastic...?

Reason why i'm asking is because i wanna run some overwattage bulbs and if it's plastic it'll prob melt. Anyone got any experiences?

Take a stanley knife to it somewhere inconspicuous. If you can cut it, it's plastic

if you cant tell what glass is then you need to go back to school imo

any way tap a plastic cup and a glass cup you should be able to tell the difference

hahaha yeah I tapped it with a pen and I can confirm it's glass! Although there wasn't that much difference between that and my amber corners surprisely... thanks guys
