Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you guys have used this setup before?
This is wat i have setup at the moment, the ride quality is :thumbdwn: On the softest setting it is still harsher than kmacs on stock shocks. Tried adjust the damping firming it up.. but just made it worst. Any suggestions besides getting new springs... ??

One other question: Does the hole of the bump stop need boring to make it larger so that it slides all the way down the shock shaft so that it sits on the shock body? or can it be left the way it is and sit on the little wash seat that is welded onto the shaft. The dude on TI bored the hole bigger. http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=891136

What do you guys think?

Usually people get eibach springs with koni shocks! they are wat i think is called progressive so that when u are riding on them they can b softer 4 a smoother ride but hard when u need them to b hard! hope it helps?

How low is your car? If it is up to the rubber the ride may be hard cause you are riding on your bump stops. Just a thought.

Bore the hole. Takes a few minutes with a file. :)
Have never experienced Kmacs with Koni's, but I'm certainly enjoying my Koni and Eibachs ;)

If you have enough budget, buy coil over suspenion. If you still want to change spring, "swiff" spring is your best choice.

i got springs for sale but i dont know if they are any good. from what i can tell they are apex springs they are progresive from what i am told. if you want pictures i can supply.

but truthfully coilovers are the way to go. DMS is great brand i highly recomend them drives well.

Aren't Swift springs for coilovers only?

Anyway to Boost: Just my personal opinion, i don't recommend coilovers on street

Yeah eibach should be alright, at least my fd is using it and no complain at all, firm ride, but not harsh and stiff

yeh, alot of peps using eibach in here so i would much rather use them judging from other peps experience with them. Coilover should be left for track i think... for reasons discussed in other threads.
