Hi to all, I am new to this place. I live in Victoria and I own a Dec 1993 CD6 Accord SiR (1994 model) personally imported from Japan. It is a silver car which unfortunately came with a 4 speed automatic transmission. It does a black top H22A DOHC VTEC. As this car is a pre-facelift model, it doesn't carry a rear wiper. My car has a 7 spoke 15 inch standard wheel, but the tyre and wheel is slightly wider, riding on 205/55 R15 rubbers.

Does anyone else has a CD6 (Sedan), CD8 (Coupe) or CF2 (Wagon) Accord SiRs in Australia?

Just to share some photos of the lesser known JDM CD3 Accord EX. This particular car is 1996 facelifted model and Serbing Silver in colour (Honda paint NH-552M).

The JDM CD series Accord is perhaps one of the type with quite a few different models in the model line-up to cater for different markets, which came with 1.8 SOHC, 2.0 SOHC VTEC, 2.2 SOHC VTEC or 2.2 DOHC VTEC engines.

Althought this car in many ways is underpowered and isn't comparable to the Australian market 2.2 litre SOHC VTEC model, nevertheless it does the job pretty well and it is less thirsty than my CD6 Accord SiR.

Star shaped factory gun metal coloured 15" wheels off facelifted JDM CD6 Accord SiR (1996-97) riding on 195/60 R15 Yokohama rubbers. These wheels are slightly wider and are able to fit 205/55 R15 (factory default). The rear brakes are drum brakes though, not the discs as found in 2.2 SOHC VTEC and 2.2 DOHC VTEC models.

Rear shot. You can tell the boot is slightly different from the Australian/NZ model, obviously aimed to fit the Japanese number plates. Even the Accord badge is in slightly different location.

Climate control air condition as standard... just pray it doesn't play up and it could be quite costly....

Overview of the dash. Same redline zone as the 2.0 and 2.2 SOHC VTEC.

A happy & prosperous New Year 2010 for everyone! I will be posting my JDM CD6 Accord SiR pics soon.

I wish I had climate control! That sure looks nice and clean, although I'm not so sure about the mags on that colour car. I think if the car was white they'd stand out a lot better...

Looks like you've got the same head deck as me too.

Thanks guys! Raztaz, my CD3 is a 1996 model. My CD6 is a 1993 though. :)

Troy, yeah personally I would prefer the 7 spoke wheels too. I really like the gun metal coloured wheels, they go with the silver colour nicely.

Ekcoupe, love your wheels on the Civic! Looks like you have done quite a bit of work to the car as well.

Will get some pics of the CD6 once she is returned from the panel beater. (The rear bumper was pushed in by some lady).
