Trailing arm bushings, that's a pretty normal price if it includes labour.

Get energy suspension bushes. They are cheap and similar quality to pedder.
Check the FOR SELL section. there were some for sell.
Also, remove the trailing arm and bring it to the shop for them to press out the old bushes and install new one. labour is about $100 per hour.
all up, less then 200 and you will get them all done

600,what a joke.I would seriously ring them up and have a word.
Energy Suspension is cheap crap, for a few dollars more you can get Mugen ones that are far superior or save more and get the speherical bearing ones, overkill though.

So I'm guessing it's rear trailing arm bush.. Still 200 for pedders is a rip..250 for nolathane..? Any where else i might just go wrekers as I don't want to spend anymore time and money on my eg as it's in a real bad state..and the rear trailing arm bush is so worn out it makes a banging noise whenever I hit bumps

No way man, like I paid 220 for mugen ones and install would have been 80,no more than 100,cause I had the other bushes put in aswell (in the link on the previous page)
So $300 installed.RTA bushes are very important, that's why I spent 300 on it.But it took me a few months to buy all those bushes and get them installed, money well spent but I'm a do it once,do it right type a person.
But nothing wrong with buying a part just to get your car back on the road again! Can always change it later!

115-125bucks is well worth it since i'm guessing you'll never need to look at them again
i've got hardrace ones, holding up great even with a low ride height

yeah those are the ones
they are stiffer than oem, move way less but still do move on all axis'
i changed all my bushings so i can't say exactly whether those alone did much, but i'm sure they did
yes they are trailing arm bushes

Thanks mate did u install yourself? Was it hard to take the old ones out?
vinnY
11-01-2010, 09:36 AM
i had a press to take them out
and they were out of the car already while iw as doing a 4x114.3 conversion
you will need to unbolt the compensator arm and upper control arm at the rear to drop the arm at least
otherwise you have to remove everything
