Dc5r/s engine oil question of choice

What u guys think about castrol edge 0-40 for daily driving in out integras? I'm going for a Serivce soon and the guy said oem is better, but I have a bottle of 0-40 lying around so what u guys reckon, should I chuck in the bottle of edge or go oem oil instead?

the oil you have would be fine.

mate you could go either way. You cannot go wrong with OEM, but OEM is 10w30... stick to that viscosity for daily driving...
