In the morning my car starts fine, Cranks strong and starts up right away. No hassle.
But lately after I drive the car for a while and then turn off the car for lets say 30mins+.
Then come back to start the car, it struggles. sometimes it cranks fast and then my cars
rpm starts at like 300 and slowly climbs to 900-1100.
In odd occasions it takes more cranking (2-3 second) then the car starts up at very low
rpm and slowly climbs to the right rpm.
An example of what i mean is, its the same symptom when cleaning your throttle body with
throttle body cleaner and then trying to start the car. It's similar to that.

Try resetting the ECU. Locate the ECU fuse, which is in your fuse box, the ECU fuse is 15 amps and you will need to remove the Back Up fuse as well which is 7.5, leave the fuses out for 10 minutes, then put them back in. Start your car and leave it running for 10 minutes, don't rev the car. This allows the air to be set back to the factory setting. Pretty sure the IACV might be a bit screwed up. Resetted it on my car and its fine.
My car has the same issue.
Im gunna try
*changing fuel filter. Might be dead and clogging fuel flow.

I get this with my car when it is hot sometimes... its as if it takes a second to pick up then sputters into life... sometimes you have to crank it longer... but this happens rarely to be honest. Ive also noticed it with my missus' 04 Rav4
Im not sure what it could be but my thoughts are
1) Fuel system - Fuel filter (my car's one is new), fuel pump (again, not new but still fully operational)
2) Ignition - Sparks (mine are new OEM platinum), HD leads, dizzy
People talk about the IACV valve, but to be honest i have no idea what that is... idle control or something
anyway, my plan for the toyota is to get it checked out... with the Honda, it happen rarely enough for me not to worry right now

Try cleaning your iacv n it will sure fix most idle probs and its very easy to do so and the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) is to adjust the idle based upon the amount of air entering the engine, then the ecu reacts to this information by adjusting the cars rpm.
if u want search up in the diy section theres a DIY i think by ben and he shows u how to clean your IACV but not too sure wat series motor he was doin it on but doesnt matter its easy to locate as its located on the back side of ur intake manifold facing d firewall

Could be the starter motor. i know they don't like the heat. It could also be the fuel pump as well, i replace or clean the pad in mine every time i do a major service. they do get very dirty.

If ya fuel filter hasnt been changed in a while do that cause it can be the problem.
I would also do this:
Clean out the IACV:

If it's still eratic:
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?120938-You-Have-Cleaned-the-IACV-BUT-Your-Idle-Is-Still-High-Erratic-Adjust-The-FITV.
And if ya havin' fun, keep going!

Also (it's in the DIY above) make sure ya throttle cable isn't too tight.
