hey guys i have noticed that my RHS radiator fan is not working. i am not sure what could potentially be wrong with it. the LHS one is working fine? does the RHS one come at at a different temperature? could someone please post up a pic of the wiring the connects up with the RHS radiator fan?
cheers

RHS as in Drivers side? This one comes on when the thermostat tells it to. When engine is warm it will turn on and off depending on the temp of the coolant. Make sure it is doing this. When you get home one time after a drive. Open the bonnet and make sure its running. If not wait a few minutes with engine still running. I should turn on.
LHS as in Passenger side. Is the AC fan and comes on when you turn the AC on.
Both fans are independent of each other, so don't be alarmed if you see one on and not the other.

thanks man for the help, ok the drivers side is working fine, but the AC fan doesn't seem to be working, anyone got a pic of their wiring coz i think something might not be connected. are there are two harness/plugs that connect to the AC fan?
Get a power tester and see if power is flowing through at the plug for the fan. If there is power and you turn air con on and the fan isn't working, It's like your ground.... or a dead fan lols. Most likely the ground though.
dc2rs are a decade old now. It wouldn't be surprising if our wiring is old and dead by now.
The passenger fan turns on depending on temp, Like dl001 said. But when you turn air con on, both fan should be running.
p.s. fix this issue fast or you'll be having over heating issues with air con on this summer

Is there any way that we can turn on both fans without turn on A/C ?
If it does, does it means we can increase our car cooling efficiency ?

One fan is more than enough and thats how the setup is. It drops temps in seconds.
The reason the AC also has a fan is because of the extra load the engine is dealing with when AC is turned on.
its a 2pin plug connecting to the aircon fan. Check if theres power running through and if the wire is ground'ed.
