CRV servicing

I live in Newcastle, but bought my new 2007 CRV from Sydney. Till now I have driven to Sydney to have it serviced. It is now due for the 10,000km service, and I would like to know, do I have to return it to the dealer I bought it from, or can I get it serviced safely by a non Honda service agent, such as NRMA, or Ultratune, without voiding the warranty. Or is it preferable to have it serviced at a Newcastle Honda dealer? thank you

You can service it at any Honda dealer and still keep the remaining warranty on it without issues. If you go to a third party agent, your warranty is still intact on paper, but if the dealer rules that the failure/damage was caused by incorrect servicing or neglect, they won't cover your warranty.

apparently you can service at any mechanic that is dealer recognized or racq approved i think
