CRX conversion, what fits?

what newer motor & gearbox will drop into my 1989 CRX?? currenty is a D16A8

anything you can think up, hasport has a mount kit for. lol rewire can handle the electrical side of things, so what ever you think is the best motor for your application

On a serious note, any new Honda motor can practically go in there

pretty much all D series even SOHC variants can be fitted, B16A's can be done for around $4000+ depending on parts etc.

i have just completed a B18C7 from an integra in mine

then if you really have cash K20's go really nice in such a little car.

just needed somthing more common that i could pop a hairdryer on lol and that would drop straight in.... no v8's for it yet... i still wanna keep most of the front on it haha.any one know what models i should be looking at?

dunno bout 5 avoiding getting an aftermarket comp. i can source stuff at good prices jus want it to be a pretty common motor & gearbox for any future problems

if ur looking at about 5 k u can get a b16 put in and that would go nicely. its a damn light car and it will rawr as hell. got a jdm b16 in my ej8 and im perfectly happy with how it runs. sprints when i wanna and saves fuel when i need to. ;D

nearly every honda civic/crx had it as an option from 1990 to 2002.

again as i said if you want specific options and parts required for you car join up at crx australia.
