hey guys just wondering if its possible to paint these lips?
has anyone ever done it?

yes it is.
polyurethane gets painted all the time,
nothing new - just plastic!

yeah u can paint it. paint is quite flexible to a point. just prep it right or take it to a shop

no, you need plastic primer, its abit different and it will stick to the poly without ripping off in sections.
If you take it to a good painter they will know to use it.

I've had mine done now for about 2 yrs no paint flaking

dont forget flex additive in the paint as well to make it much less prone to cracking when the lip flexes.

VERY important !!

all your modern bumpers are made from PE as it's impact resistant and cheap to produce.. but you must have a PE primer (flexy) and the flexible paint base or it will crack and chip off and look terrible.. seen so many EG6 lips been painted with cans of touch-up paint etc over the years and they ALWAYS end up looking povvo !!

prep it right and use the flexy stuff and it will be good as gold.
