Yes they will do all of that and give you a report of the before and after figures.

It's really much of a muchness,I swear, every single bloody time they never straighten the steering wheel up,dosen't matter where ya go,they are all bloody hopeless like that.

I just go to bob jane cause they are closer.

go to a Honda dealer, I have had nothing but troubles from Jax and Jane before

dealers in qld are the same price for better quality of work anyhow, worth at least calling them :)

they send your car to a tyre shop . surely they don't it themselves, i.e. alignment equipment, etc etc

i get mine done at a jax, tell them what specs and come up 30-45 minutes later with some good steering response :)

depends on the joint i guess

The problem I am having is my car will pull to the left when running on a straight line(the steering wheel will also following the direction and I have to hold the steering wheel to the right.)
Do u guys think this can be fixed by the wheel alignment?

yep wheel alignments usually fix that

it happens when your toe is out

We found Bob Jane kinda hopeless for anything other than new tyres... We tried to get the wheel aligned on our 4x4 and the bloke cried about a bolt being too tight.

Took it to our local mechanic who, unknown to us, recently got the facilities to do it, its now pretty much spot on, even with a lift kit and larger wheel offset and tyres.

However... compared to the other tyre places I would go Bob Jane... one time we took our Commodore to Beaurepairs, not only did they overcharge us, but they put the wheel nuts on too tight and stripped the threads, so we had to spend ~$600 on new wheel hubs (it has the studs and abs inside on a VY Commodore) including labour. Never again. I've never been to Kmart, feel the same way about Kmart as I do about Ultra Tune, anything within a shopping center carpark is questionable to me lol.

don't under any circumstance go to a kmart tyre and auto, may as well go to a gas station

some BP's do some very good work

Just another note. If you have a nice car take it to a place that does a lot of nice cars. That way have less chance of some idiot kid thrashing the crap out of it on a test drive after the work is done.

If you take a hot car to kmart or a similar place that does shitboxes and family cars all day, every day then they will probably damage something.

FYI most alignment shops will adjust TOE to as new ZERO front n rear. They will not adjust caster , or camber etc. Caster cant be adjusted , but camber can with the correct kit and at an additional cost.
You should get a good computer readout with all BEFORE and AFTER settings to see how teh condition of your suspension arms , bushes etc is.

Had bad experiences with Bob Jane, Jax, Kmart Tyre and Auto, so now I always go back to Bridgestone Select at Oxenford, keep going there so they know me and they keep giving me good service. I think they're a bit expensive but when you carry kiddies around in the car I think it's worth it knowing they do a good job. I've never asked about caster and camber etc... Think I will next time.

just thinking about it, each and every brand may very well be different as I think most of these places are simply franchises. Hence the quality of service and capability of these outlets really depend on management, skills of their employees and equipment which may differ with another franchise in the next suburb...

personally i'd probably be ok with taking the daily or work car to kmart and such - the nicer cars that you care about more i'd take it to a specialist that may have a good reputation...

i've found my local jax shop to be quite professional and knowledgeable with suspension and tyres. friendly service and fair pricing of course is an added bonus

had my last set of tyres bought from kmart tyre and auto and they did a wheel alignment as well, actually did a really good job and got a member card to get a free alignment every 10,000kms. ended up selling those wheels anyway and when I get my new wheels on soon im just going to head to a sussy shop to get an alignment there. never trusted bob jane or tyre power ect for anything other than tyres on sale.
