42 degree heat + LS = cracked bumper

That's right :mad: I am so so so mad!
I just got home, put my car in the garage, went to open my boot and noticed that on the right hand side, my back bumper has cracks in it. I touched one lightly and it cracked even more. OMG. Im so upset.

Im thinking bout claiming for it thru insurance (got other things that need fixing also) but if i get asked about the bumper what should I say? Somehow, i think if i say "it happened from the heat..." i wont get very far....

Those of you with black cars, go check it for cracks!!

Thought of that already...but there's no 'evidence' to show that a car hit me, eg - paint marks off another car etc

Im a good driver, never hit anything in my life so shoosh.

I doubt some1 hit me though because its not on the side of my bumper, its up on the top part and thats in an awkward position for another car to be able to hit it there.

i was thinking something like that....there would have been an orginal crack due to some reason that wasnt noticeable....after wear and tear or just bascially the heat has now exposed it....:thumbdwn:

Hmmm maybe it was hit lightly earlier on..I dunno. Nevermind, i'm getting a quote tomorrow and claiming it through insurance (and a few other things), so all is good :D
