Alternator

Just replaced my faulty alternator with a refurbished one.

Hooked it up. turned car on. charging at a rate of ~14.3volts. SWEET!

checked dash and warning light is on (alt/battery light)

What the helll??

Anyone had any experience with this? A quick google search tells me it's got the wrong regulator in it to suit my car? Anyone able to give me any pointers?

I have run the appropriate tests/troubleshooting steps as per the user manual for 92-95 EG/EH Civic and they all ran fine..

I am leaning toward incorrect Voltage Regulator..

Anyone shed some light on this?
