Has anyone fitted those motors on your car??

http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/index.php?option=com_jdm&p=detail&vid=27&cid=370

I had the feature on my old car and i'm very careful where I park my cars and wouldn't mind getting it for my new CU2

any one got any experience or feedback on them?

It was discussed in the cu2 mods thread.
I want to get one but JDM concept can't confirm if it comes with wiring.

Same here, if it comes with everything and I can find someone to help me with installation, I will be jumping on this!

Yeah definitely interested too.

I'm guessing it has no button next to the mirror adjuster thing inside to flip the mirrors?

What i'm kinda concerned about is that if you have this and want to use it, can you use the 'auto down' mirror thing (the one where your mirror flips when you put it in reverse) without having to adjust the switch everytime you want to use the two?

This feature is standard on the new Euros sold in NZ.

I think JDMConcept said on the other thread that the mirror will only be folded when you turn the engine off.

This is based on my understanding from what JDMConcept has said so far.

When the mirror adjustment switch is flicked to the left you have the reverse tilt mirror functioning as normal. When you flick it to the right the mirrors will fold when you turn the engine off and fold back out when the engine is on.

When the switch is in the middle (not to the left for the reverse tilt and not to the right for folding mirrors) then neither the reverse tilt will work (which happens currently) nor the folding mirrors.

I am also really interested in this, however I require the button to fold the mirrors over engine off folding as I have a very narrow garage and currently fold them manually before parking my car which becomes a hassle every day!

Awaiting pictures and possibly a DIY if possible!

^^^ Yup, that's my understanding as well

Hmm thats a bit of a bummer because i'll have to switch it to the right before i turn the engine off. I really like the auto tilt feature so leaving it the right all the time isn't really feasible :(

I don't think its a problem because i'm not going to fold my mirriors every where i go

just prob in shopping centers and other places i feel unsafe so a swtich on the "right" is perfect for me.

its sad to see those basic features that was on my 96 model skylines not implemented in our 09 model LUXURY vehicles
