weird noises when air con is turned on

Hi all,

i have a 06' vti-s jazz in manual and just recently noticed this as i dont use the air con often, i turn the air con on setting 3 and as a drive i notice a rough 'clunk' sound from the front of the car just whilst driving.
however this doesnt appear to happen when i am on setting 1 or at least mimimal.
the air con is still cold and circulates fine with no bad smells or anything like that.

what would you suggest i check?

The clutch or compressor maybe on the way out, Get it check asap, before the compressor fails. just to confirm if its the compressor, just pop the bonnet and see if the sound is specifically coming from that area.

this sound only happens when the car is in motion and usually when i change gears i guess it sounds like the clutch more than anything.
its hard to tell where the noise is coming from but it sounded more like coming from under the car or towards the back of the car.
