springs will fit, drop will be different though

with shocks for the rear
ek>eg = bushes need to be shaved to fit the narrow fork
eg>ek = washers need to be used to fit the wider fork

front shocks are straight swap

^^ Exactly. The bolt that is used to mount the rear shock absorbers on an EK are 80mm, the ones on an EG are 84mm.

eg rear lca will not fit on ek. or the reverse
afaik eg will fit, except eg6, which is eye mount, not fork mount.
springs will not drop as far as ek is heavier then eg

EK rear shocks will fit to the EG if you shave the lca by around 4mm on each side on where the shocks fork join to the lca

do eg need jdm lca to fit ek rear coilover?
will the weight of the eg affect the performance of ek coilover?

theres no 'jdm lca' for eg's
fact is, the bushing for fork mount lca's for eg is wider than the ek's is
hence why yonas says to shave the bush by 4mm per side

You can put EK LCA on EG and you won't need to modify to fit EK coil.
However this would screw the alignment and NOT recommended as EK lca is longer than EG one. IMO, best way to fit EK coil on EG is to shave the bushes as said previously.

does EK3-4 and 9 suspension the same?

all ek/em/6th gen civics share the same suspension setup

however stock suspension will vary(different valving, heights and spring rates)

You cant install EK lca on EG at all.
