Hi Guys and girls,

i dropped my bike recently on the right hand side, the bike was running perfectly before. The drop was not major. I am now experiencing the below problems:

- hard to start with choke in
- idling is very low and not smooth
- slight backfiring from the exhaust on startup and whilst in motion
- power seems to have dropped as bike struggles to launch

Hopefully the engine is ok, could someone please suggest advice of how to check/fix the above problems.

I will take it to a mechanic but hope this avenue may save me some money and my cibby.

dropping probably flew some oil into the mix or excessive fuel into the combustions chambers via the carby etc. Plugs might be fouled.

change spark plugs with new CR9-EH9 NGK's and see if that rectifies the issue.

as ben said check the sparks you prolli have flooded it and its fouled now.
if cant get sparks... take em out and give em a clean with petrol.
i did this when i dropped mine in the middle of no where.
