View Full Version : fitting facelift jdm dc5r cluster onto aus dc5r

hey i recently purchased a facelift jdm dc5r cluster. comparing it to my stock one the plugs are different. has anyone fitted these in their car. do i change the cluster harness or is there more to it?

Some things need to be changed. Someone has asked this question before, and was given a DIY for it.

i looked at that but that shows you the prefacelift jdm dc5r cluster. i have the facelift which is white face. i compared to stock one i have the plugs are different

Off the top of my head; the speedometer only goes to 180km/h, the redline on the tachometer is at 8400 instead of 7900 and it says "Type R" in the middle. The facelift cluster has white faces like the 05-06 Type S clusters here.
