general question regarding s2000

hi would like to purchase a s2000. would like to know generally how many kms would the clutch last and is it possible to replace a 1999model roof with a new glass one? thanks in advance

no idea with the clutch, but you can definitely do the roof. the entire soft top needs to be changed and I believe the whole job costs upwards of 2k.

2k? i'd say bit more then that including install and what not. The clutch should last quite a while if your not doing stupid things in it.. like burnouts or riding the clutch something stupid. I never ever had a problem with mine when i had it. Except the 2nd gear synchro. Diff wont last long doing silly burnouts so get a stronger crown pinon i think it was? Someone will correct that anyway. And make sure you top your oil up weekly at a minimum! Some s2k's munch through more then others depends on how looked after the one you buy is!
