front bumper...
is it as simple as sandpapering the paint sticking out and putting touch up paint?
or replacing the bumper or respray?

Its probably best to get it resprayed since the scratches are quite bad but if you want to do it yourself you'll probably need to sand it down, then apply the paint, sand it down again so its smooth and then give it a good polish. Someone thats done it before would probably be able to explain the process better.

looks like the metal's a bit dented. If it's not, and ur reallly skilled, touch-up paint's your man...

This is one of those dings that u can't reallly fix cheaply, but it's not so huge that u want to spend to fix it professionally..

go to different touch up guys and get a quote for sanding and bumper re-spray. ask them how many coats they do etc?

also check how much is a new / 2nd hand good conditioned front bar. could potentially be cheaper if ur lucky.

but if ur out of dosh just use some touch up paint.

goodluck!

Ask dave @ reflect effect....

i got keyed a while back, took it into dave and he made a big improvement on the key mark, prob close to a 80% improvement........well worth paying him a visit.

he might even be able to work some magic with the touch up paint and make it look normal again..

LOL thats epic, imo go professional, the bumper looks dug in at the front where the chain hit, but if you dont care, touch up paint and buff it out and wait till someone hits you and make insurance claim :)

Where abouts in Perth are you ? I'll be there in a few weeks, I could possibly show you what to do in person to get it fixed.

i think if you want it to look good you will have the spray the whole car :D or else you will see 2 tones (or at lease spray the front half of the car to match it up).

if your are thinking of DIY, you will have to do alot of work. Have to wash it then sand, then wash again, fill & sand, then wash it again, mask, primer and spray :D.

something that much i think, ill just find an el'cheapo chinese panel beater (cost you about $400-600) or claim it off insurance for a better job.
