I was recently at my local Honda dealer checking out the Type R and was told there were very few new vehicles around due to shut downs at the Swindon factory.
For anyone looking for a new Type R here is the situation.
The Swindon factory closed for four months in the middle of last year due to finance troubles associated with the GFC.

Production this year looks to be back to normal so I would imagine we should see a new batch arriving soon.
