Engine help PLEASE!

Hey all im new to these forums and was wondering if anyone here could identify the engine model of the civic i am about to get. It is a 1996 model Civic VTI Coupe and has v tec but im not sure what engine it is thanks in advance.

Is this a fairly good performer in the civic line up?? It is under the VTi-r isnt it?

the vtir is the top kw rated model - your car either has 88kw or 96kw so yes it is under the vtir in performance.

the 96kw version goes not bad - good and nippy for city driving.
