muffler wont do anything power wise. mufflers more for sound.

i personally prefer the sound of mugens and fujitsubos

juns a bit loud i think. utube whatever you're buying would be the easiest mate

X-Force system is nice and loud but it depends what your after.
Mugen offers a very nice note but costs an arm and leg lol

i suggest an xforce varex muffler, best of both worlds.
loud and quiet when you want it to be, all at the touch of a button.

i mean buddyclub is a good exhaust in performance, but as a daily or highway driven car. Headache man. Especially the Pro Specs and the spec 2's. LOL madd cross over sound though. Screams like hell

lol i used my car for about 2 months for work with the exhaust on.. averaging about 1000kms a week. never get tired of the sound :) depending on throttle though

haha yerh it does depend on the throttle. LOL but the back pressure going at 100ks, its like jumping in to a muzzas commowhore and letting them show you what bass is like.

I dont think its that bad at all, if you drive it normally you can barely even hear that you have an exhaust. (I drive with the windows down and sunroof open no matter where i am unless it is raining).

The Back pressure isnt too bad, it is fun to lift off just to hear the sound.. as the ol' dc2 pops and crackles.

Whoever says buddyclub exhausts aint loud is either having hearing problems or is just plain deaf.

It probably isn't loud because during day time you probably pump loud music and other road users are noisy so your ears adjust to the noise level.

Try driving at night when there's literally no one around. Especially inner streets.

For freeway driving, if you drive a dc2r and your going at lets say a constant 100 km/h.... that's 3500rpm constant from what I remember. Headache for sure!

P.s. Stay with something like a fujitsubo

the axel back makes the sound.
but if you want quiet. make sure your Bpipe has at least 2 resonators. (One long one short)

Fujitsubo catback systems usually has this if you dont cheap out and just buy the axel.

If you're just changing axel backs, no/minimal power will be gained.

All my driving is done without music because my 10 stacker skips really badly and i drive with my windows down everywhere. I also live in a smaller town where there is only heaps of traffic at 9-10am and 4-5pm which isnt when im driving around. When i do go to newcastle etc i cant hear my exhaust at all due to the traffic (unless im really giving it some)

I honestly think its not a massively loud exhaust.

Also, i find that if youre travelling at a constant speed the exhaust noise dies down to practically nothing.

Well, my brother got a complaint from every car he ever owned (suzuki swift gti and a sport, 206 gti, prelude gen 2, ae86) from people in our street. I have never had a single complaint. It cant be that bad to everyone else.

Other exhausts are good, but you cant go past a BC pro spec (not spec 2) for a raw v-tec sound > 4500rpm and a nice quiet rumble below.

My opinion is all the BC pro spec exhaust are loud as f*ck! wa too loud for street use without any donut resonators.

Well this thread just proves that when purchasing an exhaust for yourself u really have to try it yourself to test sound and performance gains.

but u cant go wrong with the fujitsubo exhaust on a dc2r. lol
