Ek Civic Speedo (cable or Electric)

hey guys,

Just wondering the speedo on my Ek (Vtir) has died. is the speedo electric or cable.. i was guessing electric cause of abs and speed sensors etc but some one told me there not so now im uncertain, been meaning to rip it out take it in to work but been to busy bla bla bla lol..... any help would be sweet..

It's electric :) Even EG are electric. Check all your under dash and under bonnet fuses. there are 3 pins, ignition, ground, pulsed 0-5v. Hope that helps

i think its electric, it runs of the speed sensor.
