Weird kick at gear change

Hi Guys,

Currently experiencing some weird kick\jump forward whenever the gears change on my Honda Civic EK1. Its an auto and it seems that everytime the gears changes, especially from 1st to 2nd, the car seems to kick forward. You feel that slight jump forward in the drivers seat which is hard to explain. i hope you guys know what im alking about.

Not sure what the problem is. I have recently changed the transmission fluid with Honda OEM fluid. What could be the problem.

this is unfortunately a common problem with the EK1 auto transmission.
Nothing to do but change the fluid a little more often than required if you want.

My EK1 used to do it too until i changed to a manual one.
