My car thinks its doors are open!

My 95 dc2 is of the opinion that a door is always open. I have tried repeatedly shutting everything, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Then las night I also noticed that the interior lights (on the cieling) had stopped working. I'm thinking a fuse or a wiring issue....
Any other ideas?

Ah, probably should have mentioned that. The little red light on the dash that tells you when a door is open is staying on and my alarm system wont arm properly. Ive checked all doors, boot and hood really carefully to make sure they're shutting all the way

The interior light has stopped working altogether. Both of them have in fact

one of your door triggers may be gooneskies and grounding itself, check that
