ive recently accquired some 17" wheels for my CL9, however the wheels have some quite high offset at the rears.

fronts: 17 x 7.5 with +30 offset
215/40 or 205/40 tyres (not very stretched)

rears: 17 x 8 with +50 offset
215/40 or 205/40 tyres also for the rears (tad bit of stretch)

the thing is im looking into getting some spacers for the rears to reduce the offset for a nicer flush look and also so the tyres dont rub on the inside considering its quite high at the +50 offset on the rears.

the 25mm bolt on spacers are the spacers that im quite interested in purchasing to bring the rear wheels to +25 offset. will this offset specs cause me much problems towards the guards/tyre combo im thinking of running? will i require to go skinnier tyres at the offset of +25 on 8" wide wheels?

I'm running 17x7.5 +41 at the front (lowered of course) and it's almost flush with the fenders. +30 will definitely rub if its lowered.

I agree, if you lower it your rears will probably rub aswell at +25 with spacers. I run 18x7.5 +42 front and back (not lowered) but it looks to be fine to lower it.

felixd is running some crazy low offset with 18" wheels, with camber kits and dialled in the right amount of negative camber it might be alright.

+50 will probably rub the inside of your guard as well
