Not trying to be a A-hole here, but why would you hook up a car you didn't buy for yourself but for someone else who doesn't have the passion for it like we do?
And welcome.
Maybe the gf does?
And at least we know it's a good car.
Just two points that came to mind.

If girls really did, then they would learn to do things themselves and not count on a man. It sucks more when a girl breaks up with you after all that work you put into her car!
And yes it is a good car. Doesn't take a scientist to know that.

Thank you!! At least someone knows what I'm talking about. I've seen it happen to my boys more than once and they end up losing the car and the money they put into it when the girl leaves. It f#%$ing pisses me off when girls rock a car that she 1) don't know sh#t about but drives it for silly attention, 2) never plans on learning about it b/c that's what they use men for, and 3) God forbid they brake a fake nail by just putting gas. And when they buy parts, they automatically think they know everything about their cars lol.
I'm not saying all girls are this way but the ones I've seen are just messed up. I've only came across 2 that know their cars and do their own work and had no man around for that... my uncle's mother in law and myself.
Anyways, good luck to this new guy and hope his girl appreciates and sees that theres more to this hobby than meets the eye.
Hhhmmmmm all good points, was just contributing to discussion.
